Prof. Dr. Drs. H. Hadi Prabowo, M.M.

Hadi Prabowo or known by the initials HP (born April 3, 1960) is the Chancellor of the Institute of Public Administration, previously he served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs. In the 2013 Central Java Gubernatorial Election, Hadi advanced as a gubernatorial candidate supported by a coalition of parties including PKS, Gerindra, PKB, PPP, Hanura, and PKNU paired with Don Murdono, the Regent of Sumedang.

During Elementary School (SD) Hadi Prabowo completed his education in Grobogan. Then he spent his junior high and senior high school in Klaten where his extended family came from. Hadi Prabowo is an alumnus of the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, Diponegoro University (1985) when he took his undergraduate education.

After being assigned as the Regional Secretary of Central Java Province, this mustachioed man was then given a job at the Ministry of Home Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Successively, he was assigned as Expert Staff of the Minister of Home Affairs, then Deputy I of the National Border Management Agency (BNPP) and served as Secretary General of the Ministry of Home Affairs.

On August 5, 2015, Minister of Home Affairs Tjahjo Kumolo inaugurated Hadi as Acting Governor of Central Kalimantan, replacing Agustin Teras Narang whose term of office had expired.
